In the initial phase the LOTOS Oil engineer inspects the machinery paying attention to the functioning of the oil systems, becomes acquainted with the lubrication management conditions and the choice of the lubrication materials. As a result, the engineer prepares the scope of required changes and corrections, an estimated budget, time frames and defines the benefits the Customer will achieve.
The preparatory phase includes an audit, i.e. a systematic description of the machinery working conditions, the used lubes and the lubrication management. Based on the audit results, the engineer prepares a programme defining the objectives of monitoring. The program shall include the recommendations for the corrective measures. It will also define the monitoring parameters, including their marginal, prewarning and alarm values. If necessary, the lubrication instructions and procedures and the choice of lubes will also be verified. Finally, the engineer will conduct a training about the correct sampling, operations, maintenance, taking observations and archiving their results and using the system managing the analyses results.
Fulfilling the recommendations and implementing the actions recommended on earlier stages. Preparing current reports and recommendations for the Customer. Assessing the fulfilment of the recommendations and the benefits from using the Oil Service by LOTOS Oil.
